Post it in a few years when all of the UK will be inhabited by Afroasians. It will be even funnier.

I must disagree... the modern Republic of Cyprus (which is inhabited by Cypriots, some of whom speak Greek, some of whom speak Turkish - and I exclude the post '74 settlers in the occupied zone) founded 1960 has never been a part of the modern Kindgdom and later Rpublic of Greece, finaly recognised 1832, and likewise vice versa, so I simply do not see how a citizen of Greece (unless born here) can be native of Cyprus.

Cyprus has its own history which is very different to that of Greece, and its your own bigotted megalist idwea about giving Cyprus away to another remote power, that of Greece, based in Athens that I think would be a complete economic and social disaster for Cyprus, that leads you to make statements which I think are completely absurd.

And before you resort wuth your usual epithet of imperialist or colonialist, in my view the only place Cyprus should be run from is Nicosia.

Halil - Cyprus is in the EU. Greek, French etc troops regularly hold joint maneuvers with the RoC. We are united. The enemy presence is Turkey.

Your imperialist divide and rule obsession belongs to another age. Cyprus and Greece are united. Enough already.

Imperialist? wanting a true independance for Cyprus? take a hike yourself.

Your imperialist divide and rule obsession belongs to another age. Cyprus and Greece are united. Enough already.

Really, you Fartans go too far and you do such disservice to the Struggle with the ugliest and most stupid of comments... so far that it's even more ridiculous that you have to be reminded of the obvious... the CYs living north of the cease-fire line have every right to be in CY, as much right as the CYs in the Free Areas...!!!

Of course one can rightfully think Cyprus without the TCs would have been better. For a start, Britain would never have brought in Turkey in the 1950s to sow discord and cause division. But most TCs were willing to live under the RoC and if they still are, then they know they can return and help overthrow the Turks. If they don't, then they do not really have a future in Cyprus and should go back to Turkey with the settlers. Same goes for those over-britishised "GCs" who think Cyprus is some newly-founded colonial country without a history.
