what word games you indulge in to foster your own bigoted views: the fact remains the UN forces include soldiers from a number of countries who are all members of the UN (including British soldiers) but the presence of British troops within the UN forces does not fit within your narrow bigoted point of view so you have to find away to down play it.

They are NOT "British Soldiers" if they are in the UN you Imperialist bigot! It is an International organisation. UNIFICYP is funded by the RoC. Paid for by the RoC it therefore belongs here until its duty is done. AWOL is a criminal offence.

I'll post Rule Brittania again, if you like. I only did it to wind you up. The Un Troops are still recognised as forming national contingents, each with a certain sector of responsibility. The Annual cost of the deployment is estimated to be about USD 57 million, of which the ROC voluntarily pays 1/3rd. Greece contributes USD 6.5 million. Turkey pays fuck-all. The British contingent is supplied through operation TOSCA.

Oh I've really got you going now....
as matter of interest would it have made any difference if the dead squaddie had been provided as a part of operation TOSCA? I dont know if he is or is not, the chances are that he is not, but be honest, would it- would he still be British?

It is INTERNATIONAL. For world peace. Every country is represented (except the "Vatican").

International means they belong everywhere!

They are still 'troops abroad' and according to you "All troops abroad should go back to their homelands!"...

Your bigotry and hatred of the British blinds you to your very own words!

Agree with the above except for Greeks. They are the natives of Cyprus and fellow euro-zone members. Greeks belong 100% in Cyprus. The rest are zero..
