Are you referring to the disabled painter Kassialos executed by Turkish troops , ("the best in NATO"), in Karpasia in the 1980s?

"No it could be the 6 month old baby buried alive by GCs."

Don't try the victimology ploy. After 1974 it has lost all value. Especially where the events after August 14 of that year are invloved. What the TCs and the "best in NATO" did after that date, when they were totally unopposed, more than balances out anything that happened before. Read the Sunday Times Insight team reports of September 1974, titled "Something terrible happened here" and gloat over it and leave us alone.

yes, its disturbing to see how some parts of humanity can gloat over "what happened in Cyprus". Its even darker when such crimes are not recognised. It's best to completely turn your back to such people.

Maxiums, Turn your back yes, but also remember the experience and assess its true meaning. Those that think that the 1974 invasion was the culminantion of the problem are deluding themselves. Turkey is half way through its plan. We forget this and we are lost. The TCs forgot and look at them now, a minority in their country, relegated to the role of a show community, used as camouflage, openly insulted by the thug Erdo every time they voice a laegitimate demand. If that is how they treat their "own" you can imagine the treatment they have in mind for the surviving GCs if they ever control the whole island.

Completely agree but the Republic of Cyprus has time on her hands where the Turkish Cypriots dont have much of that left in my opinion. there will be no solution with the Turkish Cypriots but I dont think Cyprus will remain occupied indefinately either.

You people are so pathetic, how are you planning on getting rid of the expanding population in the north in 20 30 40 years time?
