stop spreading stupid myths. tcs are a actually venetians and any of the ottomans that may have remained in cyprus after the british took over. tcs have never been greek cypriots. in fact gcs have more ottoman genes than the tcs. go figure that one out my friend. as to greece they are almost pure ottoman 400 years under the dreaded turk. bloomin heck gawd help us and the rest of the world too.

a) writing Greek with the standardised system using Latin letters (which is of limited use for pronunciation by English speakers)

and

b) writing Greek phonetically with the Latin alphabet for the benefit of English-speakers
