As I remember, before the RoC took over leadership role of the EU, it was Erdogan, Bagis and Davutoglu making threats that the north would push for independence and gain recognition from other countries should RoC be given the leadership by the EU. So what happened to that threat bearing any fruit? Not even any members from the OIC has come foreword, Turkey's so called buddies.
