I hear that the highlight of the course is when you show how to switch from CGA to EGA... is that true? That is Amazing. Really Incredible! Get Real > Steve Jobs!

Hey Sotos I just connected my wife’s phone to the Internet for a laugh and she was ecstatic! She was like… “Why didn’t you tell me my phone could do this?"

Just like you, she wants the Internet in a little matchbox!

Now she’s gonna spend the next 5 days trying to figure out how to navigate!

Back on topic for a moment...

I got my new tablet yesterday - in the end I chose one of these.

I'm absolutely staggered by the sheer quality and speed of the product! the display is incredible!

For £160 + £14 for a 32Gbyte Micro SD card I have a HD device with a dual-core 1.6GHz CPU and 64Gbytes of storage. Most excellent!

If anybody is actually interested in the thread topic now I'll post some pictures and an honest review later...

Okay, back to fighting about the 'superiority' of the 80286...

I am using the internet using the biggest screen available... now a 22" monitor connected to my overclocked core i7 ;) I watch movies on my 92" projection screen. The tablet is great for casual gaming, web browsing and reading when on the couch or lying in the bed. The phone is always in my pocket when I am away... when I am abroad or even other towns in Cyprus the GPS is most useful, and I use several other apps depending on the occasion... I rarely use the internet on the phone... I didn't even bother with a data plan because most of the day I am near a PC. But the internet on the phone was really useful recently when I had to sit next to a close relative of mine in a clinic for hours no end. Fortunately the clinic had free wifi so I spend my time reading news, listening to music and podcasts and watching youtube videos :P What phone does your wife have? My previous 2 non-smartphones also had wifi, but it was impossible to use with the tiny low resolution screen and no touch screen. My last phone also had GPS, but again with a tiny screen and no touch screen it was almost useless. You really need a smartphone with a touch screen 3"+ for those things to be of any real use.

Yes, I am interested on a honest review :) Do you have something to compare it with or is this your first tablet? The specs look good for the price... apart from the battery life. Mine has 8 hours battery life which is not the longest but on the plus side it can fully charge from empty in less than 2.5 hours.

I'll do a review...

This is my second tablet - the first was one of these.

I'm absolutely amazed at how fast the technology has moved on....

I'll get some pictures up and an honest opinion when I have used it for a few days...
