Excellent question Me Ed.

I also find Freddys suggestion quite offensive, to suggest we contribute to the occupation regime. With a mindset like that, no wonder we have no solution. When they demand a 5:1 balance, operate a 'what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine' philosophy, you can see where we are heading. The worms are really coming out of the woodwork now, and they have a cheek to blame us. Pft!

Not quite Lordo

We care about our country and the state Turkey is driving it into, but alas, Turkey wouldn't allow us to contribute so it's a stupid suggestion.

So our only recourse is to shame Turkey into taking some action.

Handing out some black bin liners to the Turkish occupation army and ordering them to get on with it is the best solution all round.

you forget terkey already paid for this work once. how many times does it have to be said. the local authority man is the corrupt one. he used the wages elsewhere.

now if you care hand in the pocket. put up or shut up. bitching will only turn you to be a bitch lik ebil. worse than a woman constantly bitching.

you are funny expecting the ta to collect rubbish. you would love that wouldnt you. when the time comes people will vote for the local authority leader. and if they still vote for him surely this is democracy. is it not.

no, I dont think anyone cares for the TA to collect the rubbish as much as them leaving and ending the occupation all together.

There is not one legitimate leader in the Turkish Cypriot side and they all represent Turkey anyway. the Turkish Cypriots will have to make a choice as to whether they will stay in Cyprus or be repatriated with the rest of illegal settlers. If you dont feel at home living with Greek Cypriots it probably because you are not at home.

These people are so hypocritical and jump on every opportunity to run the TRNC down. Did you see us do the same when you nearly blew the island to pieces and killed innocent people through your own stupidity and neglect?

You GCs are so stupid here is a great opportunity to prove to everyone that you care for all Cypriots not just those of Greek origins, but all you do is bitch about it more than us who actually live here, ho I forgot the south is bankrupt....no cash left.

Kibrislis know very well who the THEIR REAL Government is:

http://www.moi.gov.cy/moi/pio/pio.nsf/A ... enDocument

. BES trade union protested yesterday for their rights; they warned the so-called government that they will meet with Christofias if they fail to find solution to their problems
Under the title: “ They will go to Christofias”, Turkish Cypriot daily Kibris newspaper (04.01.13) reports that the employees in the “municipality” of the occupied part of Lefkosia, who are organized under the trade union of the “municipal” employees (BES), carried out yesterday a protest in front of the so-called “courts”.

The workers at the occupied Lefkosia municipality gathered yesterday at 10.30 in front of the “court” and carried out a protest waiting for the decision of the “court” about the UBP case. The protest was supported by the Trade Union Platform, writes the paper.

Speaking during the protest, the chairman of BES, Savas Bozat said that one week has passed since the arrestment of their members.

Bozat further said that the deadline they gave to the so-called government to find solution to their problem will be expired today and added that that in case the “government” will not solve their problem, they will knock the door of the “Greek Cypriot leader”, Demetris Christofias in order to inform him about their problem. Bozat added that they had already asked for an appointment with Christofias.

Speaking also during the protest, the chairman of Turkish Cypriot Secondary School Teachers’ Trade Union (KTOEOS), Tahir Gokcebel said that while inside [means inside the court] a “fight is taking place for the seats”, outside “the fight is for their bread”. He added that the workers will continue to struggle for their rights and added that they will continue to provide material and moral support to BES.

In his turn, the chairman of DEV-Is trade Union, Mehmet Seyis said that they do not care about the fight which is taking place inside the “court”, but all the community as he said, cares about the rights of the workers to be met.

Stating that they are present to the protest of BES in order to support them, Seyis said that they will continue to provide their support until the end.

The real issue is what the GCs will say and do. All will be revealed they might send them packing which again will show we are 2 separate states.
