What's that VP? I heard a faint whisper there. Must've been a fart.

Maybe you can get a Turk to speak on your behalf. Seeing as you've lost your voice.

Yes ... if we could get back to the interesting matter of Rubbish in "trnc" generally please rather than the specific Rubbish that is VP in "trnc"

News this week in a lot of sources in "trnc" that some 250 tonnes of pollution have been collected. The original 100 tonnes is increased to 250 tonnes with the mixing of sea-water.

The sources are all saying that the intention of "trnc" is to send this waste to Turkey for treatment...

... unfortunately Turkey is refusing an import license for the waste ... so it looks as though the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" is stuck with its Rubbish.

The latest on the oil-spill is of conflicting reports from haberkktc...

The Rubbish Regime of "trnc" is saying it's safe to go in to the sea in the effected area.

Whereas the "medical association" of the Occupied Areas maintains that it still not safe and is urging pregnant women and children to avoid the sea up there.

Well, would anyone trust the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" and go swimming in this...???

For turkish-speakers , a little of the report...

Ayluga ve Güvercinlik arasında atık sulardan oluşan gölet, insan sağlığını tehdit ediyor, çevre kirliliği yaratıyor
Ergül ERNUR KIBRIS

Kalecik’te meydana gelen petrol sızıntısı olayından sonra denizlerde oluşan kirlilik halkı endişelendirdi. Kıbrıs Türk Tabibleri Birliği’nin “dikkatli olun, denize girmeyin” açıklamasına, Başbakan Dr. Sibel Siber’in çok sert tepki vermesi, kafaların karışmasına neden oldu.
KIBRIS’ın görüştüğü Sağlık eski bakanlarından Mustafa Erbilen, “Hükümete ve devlet laboratuarına güvenin, denize girin” açıklamasını yaptı. İçişleri ve Sağlık eski bakanlarından Oktay Feridun ise “İyi netice çıkaran birine güvenmek gerekiyor” dedi.
Başbakan Sibel Siber, deniz bölgelerinden örnekler alınarak devlet laboratuarında tahlil yapıldığını, sonuçların temiz çıktığını ve halkın rahatlıkla denize girebileceğini açıklamıştı.
Bu güvenin verilmesinin yanı sıra Tabipler Birliği yetkililerinin, denizlerin temiz olmadığı, özellikle hamile kadınlar ve çocuklara büyük zarar vereceği yönünde yaptığı bilgilendirme, başbakanı kızdırırken, plaj işletmecilerinin de tepkisine neden olmuştu.
Halk, yaz tatilinin keyfini denize girerek çıkarmak istiyor.

You'd have to be an idiot to swim in those waters. Marine life was decimated close to the spill. Nothing survived.

I doubt anyone with sense would trust anything those clueless idiots are saying.

The following with picky is reported in today's yeniduzen.com

Another example of the appalling record of the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" on environmental protection.

The site is up in the Karpas, it's meant to be a "special protected area", a site which has been assessed by the EU to be important for a number of rare or endangered species of flora and fauna, so much so that it is a candidate for the Union's top level of environmental protection which is a listing on Natura 2000.

The headline is...

Burasi Koruma Alani ... (This is meant to be a protected area)

This is environmental protection "trnc" style...!!! ...

Another example of what passes for environmental protection from the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" posted by an environmentist friend elsewhere today...

Below is a picky of a beach in the Karpas, near the "kaplica hotel".

It is again meant to be a protected area cos the beach is a turtle nesting site.

Yet... the Rubbish Regime of "trnc" doesn't act to enforce its supposed ban on jet-skis or to stop cars and caravans parking and camping on the beach, right on top of the buried nests...

Kaplica plajinda ski yasak olmasina ragmen plajda tam tam 6 jet ski dolasiyor!

Translates as something like... Six jet-skis even though they are banned on "kaplica" beach.

I'm glad I signed the petition to get the SIlk Route Festival stopped next month. However, it seems it was only the tip of what the Rubbish Regime are getting up to
