Just keep out of the sea, Viewpoint. You don't want to pick up any nasty diseases.

Oh and I wouldn't eat any seafood for a while either.

Oil spill in the occupied areas of the north makes it to the Los Angeles Times:

Image

Gastria, Cyprus — A crab walks atop an oil slick along a stretch of beach near the village of Gastria in northern Cyprus. A Turkish Cypriot official says it will take at least two months to clean up some 100 tons of spilled fuel oil that has reached the coastline in the breakaway north of the ethnically split island.

Isn't that when you lived in the UK?

Like my shitty TC neighbours, who owned nothing, you must have come to Cyprus after '74 to steal the property of Greek Cypriots. Yes, things are better for you now, living among all the stolen property. Pig in mud!

...i am living in Canada, as my Avatar says, homeless having been displaced. having seen a bit of the world, i know my village was a great place to live. I know that the same intent existed then as it does now because although we have been torn apart, we communicate, exchange, and celebrate together the joy we shared; but, as i said before, what do i know, i come from a "mixed" village.

...dude, if you love Cyprus, you are Cypriot; you, are not a Cypriot because as you say, it does not exist, i, want to be a Cypriot (again), you see Cyprus as property, i see Cyprus as a living thing that i care for, you have your "belonging" in Turkey, i have mine in the world.

...vp, you choose to wait, as though someone will take care of you because you are "Turkish enough", i see the mounting disasters piling up on streets, and the beaches. you wish no one cared about the corruption that festers as a result, i speak with the humility i have, you without any Grace at all.
