the father clearly says they would not treat the child without birth certificate. what kind of health system is being run. the commisoner for protection of children says write to us. that is incredible.

No-one refused treatment for the man's sick child. The man didn't have any papers for the child so went to a free clinic. Would you rather the state didn't provide free clinics for the poor, immigrants or for people like this who fall through the system?

he was asked why he did not go to hospital. listen carefully to his answer.

when he contacted the authorities why did they not advise him to take the child to hospital instead they advised him to write to them. you lived your life in denial all your life. its time to wake up. if it looks like bullshit and smells like bullshit the chances are it is bull shit. ask all your fanatic friends here and see. it is bullshit.

Lordo, are you an idiot? You can get a birth certificate on the spot. There's no excuse. You get five copies. He doesn't need to go to the Commissioner for Children. He's wasting everyone's time and blaming 'bureaucracy'.

He hasn't been refused treatment. He's not got any paperwork so he's chosen to go to a free clinic instead.

I'm sorry but it's a good thing the government provides free clinics for all, even for those who can't be bothered to get a birth certificate for their own children.

Kyrenia development plan in tatters

The Kyrenia landscaping project covers the area from Kyrenia castle to the naval cemetery.

The first stage of the project was due to be finished within 6 months but after a year it is far from complete.

Roads were dug up for pipe laying but have still not been resurfaced. There are piles of stones and cement everywhere causing dust pollution.

The man now in charge of the landscaping project, Halil Sabra, said that it was obvious from the start that the timetable was unrealistic.

He said that a tender was produced without consultation and that tourists were now complaining about the mess of the part finished construction.

If there's a solution, then your problems become our problems. And vice versa. No escaping the fact. We can't have you lot scaring off the tourists...
