The Rubbish Regime of "trnc"

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Fears of a serious risk to public health with thousands of CYs at risk are again being voiced.

The breakdown in the Lefkosa "municipality" branch of the Rubbish Regime of "trnc", with the resignation of the "mayor", is leaving the fracture in the pipeline un-repaired.

Close the crossing points NOW. We dont need sick, germ spreading parasites swarming this side.

Latest news from the Occupied Part of Nicosia is that the situation with the now leaderless "municipality" is described by Union Leaders as one of increasing chaos.

The CY workers remain unpaid.

Two of the CY workers have started a hunger-strike in front of the "municipality" building. Sure we will all want to express our solidarity with these boys.

...the hunger strikers are brave heros, fighting for a Basic Right. the authority, if it is not bankrupt morally and financially, should pay them their due.

...and if it came to choosing Cyprus, or the 'TRNC', how many will show their unity, with Turkey? is this the hot summer where Cypriots decide that they want to fly their flag higher than others?

...plus, elections in the next winter season, let's see.

wot?

A little more news on the striking CY workers of the "municipality"... it's reported that not only, as all know by now, have they not been paid for between 4-6 months (accounts vary) but their social insurance fund payments have not been paid for a period that's described as ..."years..." ...!!!

What sort of Rubbish Regime of "trnc" doesn't credit workers with the provident fund payments to which they are entitled...!!!

and if no Cypriots flags fly, what can be said, should a Government neglect the Rule of Law? should a Government collect taxes when it is unable to account for its use? if it stays the same, Turkey wins, not Cypriots, as a People you fail, if you continue to dismiss the facts that make this issue so important.

...without the benefit of voting for Turkey's leadership, your so called administration will come under Trusteeship, and you will have no voice, your Heritance and your ability to act yourselves will be diminished to the point where, if the as you call them TC want it(self-representation) back, they can buy it, from private investors; as Turkey wishes, at least in the north, Cyprus, a backwater.

News from the Occupied Areas today is that 6 Million TL has now finally been paid to the Lefkosa "municipality" and the workers are returning to normal working.

They do however have reservations about payments in to their provident fund.

The "finance minister" for the Rubbish Regime has cited international reportage of the rubbish and sewage strewn across the streets of the Occupied Part of Nicosia as part of his reasoning for caving in... Hope it wasn't anything we posted here... :D

Congrats to the CY workers.

Latest news from the Occupied Part of Nicosia is that residents tiring of the filth they've had to live in for months and taking it upon themselves to clear the rubbish, have started bonfires, some of which have gotten out of control, leading to what are described as four large fires, which fire-fighters are bringing under control.

News just in from the rubbish regime.

Because of an unpaid 20 million TL bill electricity bill, at 9.25 am the "state-run" television and radio provider was cut.

The studio was put into darkness for a few seconds before the generator kicked in.
