In anycase, you parents had been in the UK long before there were any problems in Cyprus before 1963, so you can't blame Makarios for them being in the UK.

The pervert makarios "paid" for my parents tickets to the UK part of his master plan to rid the island of its TC population.

The fact that the UK has more GCs than TCs, must then mean that Makarios got rid of more GCs than TCs with his master plan to rid Cyprus of Cypriots.

The news that VP is reluctant to confirm for us is that there is a huge black hole in the finances of the Lefkosa "municipality", with reports varying but putting the discrepancy at between 45 and 92 Million TL.

One source is saying that "trnc" is negotiating with the Turkish Bank Ziraat for a loan of 90 Million TL to settle the "municipality's" accounts.

The leader of the Lefkosa "municipality" workers is also being reported as saying that he has not signed what is being called the "Protocol" for the return to work. The workers have gone back simply on a verbal understanding that 6 Million TL will be made over to the "municipality" this Friday... presumably or else...!!!

Well, well, well... would you believe it!

Looks like the Rubbish Regime is already breaking the verbal agreement that led to a return to work for the striking CY "municipality" workers in return for an advance of 6 Million TL by Friday 10.

The so-called "finance minister", a chap by the name of Tater, who was the finance director of Polly Peck, a firm whose CEO defrauded tens of millions, is reported by sources in the Occupied Areas as saying that the 6 Million TL that was promised to the "municipality" for tomorrow now won't be paid cos the "municipality" hasn't asked for it...!!!

... and he is further reported as saying that the 6 Million advance will in any event only be made over if the workers agree to very significant wage cuts to repay it during 2013...!!!

... so it looks like the deal has already gone tits up as the various levels of what passes as "government" in "trnc" continue to screw the CY "municipality"workers.
