Delighted VP... absolutely delighted that the striking CYs will finally get paid just 48 hours after they announced a meeting with Pres Christofias...
...so 4-6 months of rubbish and sewage spread across the Occupied part of Nicosia with the useless, waste of space Agent of Occupation Eroglu being powerless to do anything about it and it takes just the threat of a meeting with the President of the Republic to get things sorted...
...What a powerless Rubbish Regime.
Looking forward to supporting the CY workers of the other "municipalities" and the workers at Occupied Tymbou airport ("ercan") in the next few weeks in their actions to resist the thieving anti-CYs of the Occupied Areas Turkish Financial Measures.
Sour grapes bill sour grapes....go back to the UK and deal with your own shit.
...sour grapes vp? sounds like denial, more to come then.
Yes there may well be more to come Repulse and it may come quite soon. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if they didn't have to threaten again to see Pres Christofias.
You see this deal that has been dreamt up is a strange sort of arrangement...
There is some 6 months of back-pay owing to the CY workers but only one-third is promised to be paid this week for a return to normal working. That's 6 Million TL with the remaining 2/3rds or a further 12 Million TL paid at some future date.
... and here's the rub, even the 6 Million TL isn't really new money introduced by the Rubbish Regime, let's not think for a moment that Turkey has put its hand in its back pocket and pulled out fresh money. This 6M TL is described as
an advance from next year's budget, which will leave a hole in the "municipality" finances for the next financial year of 18 Million TL, when the remaining back-pay is added...!!!
... so at best it's putting off the day of reckoning, either that or VP and fellow rate-payers of the Occupied Part of Nicosia will be asked to make good the shortfall.
Then there is the matter of the CY worker's social insurance contributions (of unknown quantum) which haven't been paid in to the provident fund for months. We hear that the Rubbish Regime have negotiated a loan with a Turkish Bank for the shortfall but again this will have to be re-paid by a bankrupt, corruption riddled "municipality".
Hope the CY workers aren't being screwed by the Rubbish Regime in this "deal".Finally, for now, there is due to be a partial return to work tomorrow... but someones forgotten to re-new the "municipality's" motor insurance for all those trucks and vans.
Oh and finally, finally for now Blobbo... am with the CY workers, disgusting that these boys haven't been paid, damnable that they've had to endure 6 months or so without pay. Good luck to them.... oh and unlike you Blooby, have tried to get their case out in this minor way in the English Language.
