British fugitive vanishes from north

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Love this thread!

I'm British married to a G/Cypriot (a girl from Varosia although she prefers Ammochotos). Purchased a house in Famagusta in 72 lost it along with everyone else in 74, tried again in 87 with a flat in Larnaca and managed to hold on to that until eventually being forced out in 97 by a corrupt little bar owning RoC policeman (unfortunately his cancer is getting worse).

Perhaps if I'd been more intelligent and an opportunist I would have married a T/Cypriot or I would have lived in the north of Cyprus from about 78 for virtually nothing compared to the south.

The only thing I got right was not buying a Ford car, got a Triumph Herald instead which I left parked in the garage of our house in Famagusta. When I can get it back I'll have to put some air in the tyres and arrange for an MOT!

Rotate, I hope your luck improves, and I hope you get your house and Herald back. Cyprus has been cruel to you...

Thanks Anglo,

But the situation of Cyprus has been far less cruel to me than it has to those on either side who lost loved ones. Apart from 74 and 97 I've had a damn good life in Cyprus.

The house and the Herald in Famagusta will probably have to wait for the next life! but the Larnaca flat situation is now in the hands of the lawyers and I'm going to win that one

You are absolutely right, possessions are just possessions, lives are far more valuable. Good luck with your court case! Let us know the outcome!
