Schnauzer's Birthday.

Postby Schnauzer » Thu Oct 25, 2012 8:43 am

Today is my birthday and it is a custom among those with whom I am currently associated with, to GIVE rather than RECEIVE gifts and good wishes.

Therefore, in order to satisfy such protocol, (and for my personal satisfaction) I wish to extend my best wishes to all members and offer my thanks for the pleasure of association.

Furthermore, since some of you members are negotiating a meeting at 'The Carob Tree' (and I do hope the meeting is confirmed) I intend to arrange for some cash to be sent to the establishment in order that those members attending may have a drink on my behalf.

I DID send my best wishes at a previous meeting (at 'The Carob Tree') and I know they were received with the same good grace as they were sent.

As to my own position, it would appear that I will not be back in Cyprus for some considerable time, neither will I be able to spend my 'Christmas Break' in 'Tenerife' (which I DO usually look forward to).

God Bless you one and all, I will be watching to see if there are any changes in the arrangements you have made.

Special regards to Miltiades. X

Schnauzer.

If there's any chance of you attending the Carob Tree lunch you will be more than welcome, I'm sure you could entertain us with some of your tales. We, of course, would reciprocate with a with a belated verse of "Happy Birthday"

Where are you spending Christmas, Lapland?

You are such a sweetie, Schnauzer. Have a great day and wishing you many, many more of the best to come. :)

Hope you can celebrate in your favoured way somehow.

How remiss of me. In my eagerness to persuade you to attend our luncheon I omitted the customary greeting.

Happy Birthday Schnauzer :D
