I saw several Turkish flags after the goal (that's OK) and one TC flag between them (that's not OK).

I did not see any Greek or CY flags (that's not OK either). Otherwise, I fully agree with you about the significance of the behavior of the GC supporters regardless of the result.

You are right to classify the Turkish invaders of our island as murderers and rapists. They did so to facilitate the partition of the island at the expense of all Cypriots. The so-called 'flag' of the illegal pirate state is a symbol of that very desecration and should be disowned by all right-thinking Cypriots.

The game was between the team of one recognized country (Turkey) against the team of another recognized country (Cyprus).If the UN and the EU does not ban Turkey from international sporting events for the crimes it has committed, we can do nothing about it. We have to accept them in Cyprus for such events just like any other nation. Regretful but true. On the other hand, they will also have to accept the Cypriot supporters in Turkey with RoC flags. THAT will be interesting to see happening.

Now, don't waste any more of our time with the so called "Turkish Cypriot flag" because no one knows of the existence of such a thing and no one approves, recognizes respects or accepts it anywhere in the whole world (except Turkey).

So, to come back to the topic. The Anatolians who will follow their team to Cyprus are entitled to raise the Turkish Flag. The TC supporters of the Turkish team may raise either the Turkish flag (according to the provisions of the existent/non existent RoC constitution) and/or the banner of the team. They have no right to raise the "flag" of the illegal north cause that would be contrary to the UEAFA regulations and even to the constitutional terms to which you referred earlier. And because if they do (raise the flag of the north) UEFA may punish the team. Period.

Im not contradicting anything, you have a consitiution which gives us rights, squirm all you wish you cannot erase this fact.


They can raise which ever flag they wish and accept the consequences... but it will not be the Turks or the TCs that cause any problems but your revenge seeking GC animals hooligans who will throw the first stone to aggrivate an already highly charged match. Heard it too on the news but did not catch the name of the paper. Lets wait to see what hospitality they will offer in Turkey.
