I did not see any Greek or CY flags (that's not OK either). Otherwise, I fully agree with you about the significance of the behavior of the GC supporters regardless of the result.
so the flags who were carried by the very people who invaded this island and raped your women were ok and may well have been the children of the very people who did it but for some reason you object to the turkish cypriots flag. that mentality is not so easy to understand. explain it to me.[/quote]
The game was between the team of one recognized country (Turkey) against the team of another recognized country (Cyprus). If the UN and the EU does not ban Turkey from international sporting events for the crimes it has committed, we can do nothing about it. We have to accept them in Cyprus for such events just like any other nation. Regretful but true. On the other hand, they will also have to accept the Cypriot supporters in Turkey with RoC flags. THAT will be interesting to see happening.
Now, don't waste any more of our time with the so called "Turkish Cypriot flag" because no one knows of the existence of such a thing and no one approves, recognizes respects or accepts it anywhere in the whole world (except Turkey).
