The UnOfficial Bagis the Clown Thread

Postby bill cobbett » Fri Oct 12, 2012 8:29 pm

Well the latest from Bagis the Clown is that his and Turkey's interpretation of blasphemy should be a Crime Against Humanity...!!!

The Clown says...

"We have now begun working on making insults against (holy) values a crime against humanity upon directives by Prime Minister Erdogan," Bagis noted.

"God willing, many world leaders will listen to Turkey's call on the issue and urge the United Nations to take steps to make the whole world livable for all," Bagis also said.

During a trip to New York a few days ago, CF's favourite stand-up comedian Bagis the Clown took part in a Turkish Day parade of turkish Americans.

In a speech to fellow clowns, he said...

" Turkish Day Parade is a signal of Turkey's power, a cultural show of power."

"the more our citizens in the US are powerful, the more Turkey is powerful in the world,"

...and he also issued a warning to you scabby lot...

"this event is a signal of Turkey's power, a cultural show of power and a warning to the anti-Turkey groups. It is a mean for them to see our unity and mind their steps."

What a Clown...!!!

This guy must be a big hit in the propaganda press in Turkey..everyone outside of Turkey thinks of him as bozo the clown ...he kind of gives a sense of what the Turks want to hear, which is, that Turkey is a superpower and an economic powerhouse but in reality a paper tiger with many internal problems...

Bagis blames BBC ...

Egemen Bagis, heaped blame on the international media. Speaking at a press conference in Istanbul, he told the BBC's Middle East correspondent Jeremy Bowen that the corporation had encouraged the protesters to commit acts of vandalism.

The comic timing of Bagis the Clown:

Turkey wants EU leadership, says EU Minister Bağış

Turkey is not simply a candidate for European Union membership, but is a candidate for the union’s leadership, EU Minister Egemen Bağış said today during his opening speech at the Town Twinning Workshop, a project aiming for international collaborations on local levels by partnering European and Turkish districts.

Bağış said Istanbul’s unique status as a “peaceful coexistence of all cultures and religions” makes it a vital player in the union membership process.

Bağış highlighted the ongoing multicultural existence of the city, with “mosques and churches and synagogues” standing side by side, as well as its current “rise to stardom” by becoming the European capital for sports and culture simultaneously in the same year.

Not wishing to target just the EU with their comedy, the comical "leaders" of the Turkish Regime have turned their attention to the Council of Europe...

Today, Hurriyet reports on a spate between Bagis the Clown, who not wishing to be outdone by his master Erdogan in the Comedy Stakes and the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland is reported as saying...

“If Jagland would examine the member states of the council he is the secretary general of, he would see that actually Turkey’s freedom of assembly is much above those countries,”

According to the London FT, Bagis the Clown has come up with another tummy-buster...

“There is no state violence in Turkey,”

Quotes from the Clown reported in Hurriyet...

Bağış repeated his criticism of foreign media for (...allegedly...) exaggerating the protests in Turkey.

“Unfortunately, the foreign press has made a big mistake on this issue,” he said, saying that they wanted to reflect Turkey as a country where life has halted.

“Hours-long broadcasting that is even not interrupted by commercials has damaged Turkey’s image,” he said.

But these long broadcasts surely have a financial reason, and this will be revealed. International channels such as BBC and CNN never do such broadcasting without any advertisement. Somebody somehow financed these broadcasts..."

Someone tell the Ignorant Clown that the BBC has never, ever carried commercials...

...oh... and we can't wait for his revelations....
