Some news...

He is well and sends regards to all and thanks those who have asked after him, particularly Schnauzer, who he describes as a very polite man.

Departure......(please note date)

Having just returned from a period of absence (in connection with my training programme), I note with some regret that you have apparently decided to withdraw from the Forum.

If such be the case (as the general consensus of opinion seems to indicate), I feel obliged to offer you my apologies for ANY comments I may have made which may have influenced your decision.

Best Wishes and Kindest Regards to you and your family,

Good Health and Good Luck Always.

(For what it may be worth, I personally believe that you should give your decision further consideration.)

Schnauzer.

When first I learned of Miltiades' withdrawal from the forum, I sent the above PM to him hoping that it may encourage him to reconsider his action, however, since the message is still in my 'Outbox', I know he has not seen it.

Perhaps he might 'Look in' from time to time and, if he does so, I would like him to know that I feel quite ashamed of myself when I consider the fact that, whether or not I agreed with his views, (which I mostly did not) I should have been a little more 'Respectful' on account of his 'Age' and not been quite so ready to retaliate whenever I disagreed with him.

I am a little 'Older' now, perhaps the events of the past year or so have had an effect, I actually grew quite fond of 'Miltiades', please convey my very Best Wishes to him and his Family, together with my apologies if ever I DID cause him disrtess as a result of my lack of consideration.

He cannot read PMs while he is banned because he is not allowed to login. Trust me.

It's not true he was penniless. My father arrived with a gold guinea given to him by his grandmother to give to his future wife. But perhaps I am confusing him with someone else. It takes a communist to fill a church. Bill what kind of wine do you prefer?

As to not being able to log on, I'm biding my time... but I guess you already know that... the girl I'm seeing at the moment presses all the right buttons but we've yet to kiss... I can't help thinking back to the Santeria session I had in Cuba when the priests wife spoke my name and gasped... so not being able to log on... spiritually maybe?
