This may well be the cleverest statement Christofias has ever made in his 4 year tenure but unfortunately this too comes right back at him because all successive Cypriot governments including his own, have repeated the same mistake over and over of following Greece right over the cliff and into the abyss!
Let’s look at some of Christofias’ follies:
1. Having meetings with Greece over Cypriot hydrocarbons!
Were you serious by approaching a non oil-producing country for advice on hydrocarbons, and a bankrupt one at that? What could these Greek fools possibly offer you that you cannot already find on the Internet or by talking with the international experts you hired to drill?
2. Major Cypriot banks investing in Greek junk.
What were you thinking Christofias when the Greek phony said…“Have I got a deal for you!”? Have you not read Greek mythology? As a Greek-sponsored gymnasium graduate I thought you’d be an expert on the subject by now!
3. Having Greek military “experts” embedded in the Cyprus National Guard!
Yeah, their advice was priceless… how to camouflage the town of Mari so that not even we can find it! The military base of our special forces gone up in smoke! Priceless!
4. The Greek-run Cypriot ministry of education continues to genocide the Cypriot culture!
This is a big thread in its own right. Well done boys you are true patriot heroes!
5. Opening the doors to even more Greeks for employment!
At a time when unemployment in Cyprus has reached levels reminiscent of 1974 what could be better than to introduce even more Greek nationals (civil servants included) to ease our pain! Genius!
It’s pretty obvious that all successive Cypriot governments have been nothing but fucking traitors to Cyprus and with incompetent fucks like them running the show it’s really started to make Turkey look like the safe and lucrative option for all Cypriots!
