We can be 100% certain that by the time Cyprus was invaded and occupied for the very first time in her history, the area or region we call “Greece” today had already been overrun by the more numerous northern Europeans at least 100 times over because in order to attack someone on the mainland you only need to ride or march there, but to invade and occupy an island you need some kind of a navy and navies were not invented until much later in history.
So using common sense we can easily conclude that Cypriots are a much purer race than Greeks could ever hope to be, if racial purity is to be defined as the least number of bastardizations that occurred to a people!
After all… the mainland Greeks got a generous heard start in the bastardization process by one or two millenniums!
