It is nothing but a fact that we don't even know what languages were brought to Cyprus by the settlers who came from Anatolia and the Middle east. What we speak today is a Greek dialect and this has been the case for several 1000 years. This is nothing but the plain facts.

and what do you call the greeks that colononized and settled in cyprus much much later?...

what amazes me is the pseudo kalamaraes view is, everyone in cyprus before the greek coplonization were settlers...their version of history only starts when the greeks arrived...before that they were settlers that settled in cyprus...noticed how they call our ancestors settlers and not cypriot?...

And the irony of it is that the people living on that shitty little knob south of the European mainland they call “Greece” today, were being overrun, wiped out, and replaced by the more numerous northern Europeans repeatedly throughout their miserable existence yet today they claim PURE Greek olive branches on their heads!

At least Cyprus was an island with natural borders and it took many more centuries before anyone had the naval capabilities to invade and occupy!
