How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The only reason I joined this forum is to expose the racism of a Greek person called Alexis or Alexios as he is also known in Cyprus forum.

He first appeared on the www.atcanews.org forum a couple of months ago acting all friendly and tried to get us Turkish Cypriots to hate the Turkish Army as much as he does by telling us that we (TC's) are also under "occupation" and to demand their withdrawl.

I admitt that I did not respond to him in a "friendly" manner because I was sure that he was putting up a false front. Others though, tried to have a friendly conversation with him but definitly showed him that they do not support his views.

Today "my special cloak and dagger paid agent friend" Alexis/Alexios finally has shown his true face and proved what I had suspected all along by posting the racist "joke" I have quoted above.

No matter how "friendly" a face he is showing here, he is a racist Greek Cypriot who believes that Turks are worse than pigs.

PS: After reading some of the remarks from some GC posters I am sure I have just turned Alexis/Alexios in to a hero amongst Greek Cypriots but as far as I am concerned Alexis/Alexios and the likes of him is a living proof why the TC's and GC's can't live together and shouldn't even try it if we are to avoid further blood shed.

I've been through atca, what a site! Pure propaganda, fanatism and racism. Eric, have you though it twice before complaining about Alexios' joke?

This kind of jokes are insults to both Grs & Trs.
Can you share another joke with us? ...but decent one this time.

I do welcome you, but I take the rest of my comment back.

I cant believe people take ATCA so serious. I, as a T.C, have once visited it and saw what it is all about and never visited again. Why are you guys so obsessed with it?

I never thought you are not interesting.Quite the contrary.Anybody with a sense of humour is interesting. In fact, sometimes, humour is the only way to deal with the madness and stupidity around us.Certainly its the only way to deal with the kind of nationalism we have in cyprus(on both sides)
Modern?? I dont know your definition of the word, or your definition of the Cypriot, modern or conservative but let me give you a few clues.I am married with kids and a very "conservative" job.I drive conservatively and i have to be conservative with my money..:) I like traditional Cyprus food but willing to try anything.I dont listen to news on Cypriot channels because they drive me nuts and the only newspaper i read is Politis because the rest drive me even more nuts.I dont go to weddings, birthdays, christenings etc unless absolutely necessary and i go to church at easter only to sit by the fire..:)) I love football and i despise hooligans.I am a leftist so i cannot support AKEL..:) I switch off the television if any of our politicians suddenly appears on the screen...I voted yes in the referendum and i would do it again, though i understand people who voted no for the right reasons..I have many T/C friends and the specific ones i find more genuine than most G/Cs.

What do the above make me???:))By the way most of us are simply eurovillagers..i dare include myself...
