corporate ownership likwise seems to confuse our little star.
Up to three weeks ago Christis was a part of the Greek owned Vivartia group through their subsidiary Vivartia Cyprus but CYPRIOT Shacolas and Charalambides interests effectively undid the Enosis by buying out the majority of Vivartia l and created a new Cypriot firm Charalambides Christis, leaving Delta with a minority share.

Vivartia were probably exploiting the Christis name in the US market as the product was in fact made in Greece by another Vivartia entity. which is NOT a subsidiary of Charalambides Christis . Was it that using a Greek company name would leave the product with an image issue so they give it cred with a Cyprus origin name - if so, rock on Cyprus!

With the changes can Vivartia continue to use the Chritis name?

Then that is not a Christies product, it's a repackaged product because according to the above some other company called Vigla makes it!

You're just playing stupid. Christis, like Vigla, ARE part of Vivartia themselves - they are all subsids of the one big conglomerate! Their share-holdings (between Cyprus and Greece) change according to market demands back and forth (like one family sharing stuff). Now, go away. You are like a persistent mosquito.

GiG its you are who are proving yourself stupid here.

You fail to understand - with the buying out of Vivartia Cyprus Ltd by various Shacolas and Charalambides interests Christis ceased beaing a part of Vivartia.

Poppycock!

The article said they retained a share so why don't you take your anti-Greek-Cypriot hogwash elsewhere!
