Israel thinks of itself as a western minded eastern country whereas Cuba is an eastern minded western country!

But then you get a whole bunch of countries in the middle like Cyprus which at times is an eastern minded central country and sometimes a western minded central country, although in reality it’s just a central minded central country!

So there you go!

They can be whetever they want. What we need is to follow a Hellenic path... :D

Hopefully the leftist thickos in Cyprus and beyond will come to their senses before it's too late for all of us.

The commie pigs will be out in Feb, problem is we'll be out of the frying pan into the fire as we dont have men if substance for such jobs.
AKEL and its followers have destroyed this country i really hope every stinking AKELITE suffers for it.

AKEL is the root and stem of every evil in this country.

Virtually the whole world is bankrupt. Do you blame the world recession on following Hellenism? Or the result of mocking Hellenism, as you have been doing?

Hellensim has SFA to do with the world financial crisis, and mocking it, just as one should mock any form of jingoistic nationalism, is certainly NOT a cause.

It's the jingoistic nationalism of the Brits and the Yanks which has led to this killing, and you have the audacity to condemn Hellenism?

Any person that has taken the time to view the controversial 'Film' which triggered all the awful events that followed it's release (and I urge those that have not seen it to do so) MUST surely appreciate the gravity of it's content upon those who follow the tenets of 'Islam'.

The more discerning viewers of this grossly insulting presentation, will quickly realise that it's sole purpose is to antagonise the already volatile atmosphere which (well tried and tested) resulted from those previous attacks upon the sensitivities of the Muslim faith and those that adhere to it .

It should be noted that the 'Uprisings' are NOT the work of 'Terrorists' (as the media would have us believe) but an expression of absolute outrage by the devout followers of their faith, ordinary citizens of their own culture who are greatly (and purposely) offended AND, who can blame them?.

For this effrontery to emanate from a nation which is renowned for it's 'Religious Stupidity' ( and I refer to merely ONE of those situations where the 'Faithful' actually have committed suicide to join the tail of a 'Comet' in the hope of meeting 'Elvis') is insulting enough, it surely bears testament that certain comparisons may be made between two 'Cultures', providing one is gracious enough to concede that 'America' has one such.

As a 'Non Muslim' (but as one who has observed the devoutness of those that ARE) I would suggest that it might be a good idea to discuss the virtues of 'Islam' rather than dismiss them quite so casually, it may well be that WE could learn something about 'Culture', after all, 'Islam' is the fastest growing 'Religion' on the face of the earth, perhaps THAT is why the spread of it's popularity is apparently so greatly feared.

One wonders what the outcome would be if a 'Film' was screened expounding the 'Virtues' of 'Adolf Hitler', it may even serve to alleviate the suffering of the 'Palestinians' whose lands have been stolen and are now in the 'Front Row' as they watch their country being 'Wiped off the Map' (Rings a Bell ?) whilst the world turns a 'Blind Eye' to their predicament.

Good Luck to ANY person, group or nation that fights to resist oppression, by WHATEVER means, the same goes for 'Ridicule', (imho)

Very correct thoughts above. No one has the right to insult the religion/culture of others regardless if one agrees or not with them.

Not so sure about the previous and especially learning about culture by studying Islam. The west has a treasure of cultural sources of its own to turn to, including, (but not limited to) the unsurpassed Greek Philosophy. I am not even very sure that most Muslims themselves would be so devoted and so fanatic if they had half the chance to distance themselves from their religion. Take the example of the TCs and the "European" Turks. What resemblance do they have to the fanatics of the Arab and other Muslim countries? The massive and violent reactions of the Muslims whenever their religion is insulted or "insulted" even by insignificant individuals is the proof that Islam has allows no tolerance. Aren't there so many satirical plays and books and movies about Christianity and our Saints and priests etc? Did any Christians ever react massively and violently?

Yes, Islam IS the fastest growing "Religion" cause the Islamic peoples are the fastest growing in numbers and not because their religion and/or culture are so popular/appealing to the rest of the world. This is valid for its "spreading" as well, considering how the Muslim populations in the western countries are "spreading" by multiplication or through legal or illegal immigration.

No surprise there, dear Schnauzer. But that doesn't absolve the followers of Islam, who are themselves freely misguided with the same drug. The problem here is intolerant, unchanging religion. Of course there are soporific and desirable 'highs' from religion - but that is no excuse to allow it to destroy humanity.

Good Luck to ANY person, group or nation that fights to resist oppression, by WHATEVER means, the same goes for 'Ridicule', (imho)

Not having watched the video (why should anyone?), so, going by what has been said; it seems to me the extremists who carried out these actions have merely proven the basis for any such ridicule.
