Anti-American Protests Flare Beyond the Mideast
By RICK GLADSTONE
Published: September 14, 2012

The wave of unrest not only increased concern in the West but raised new questions about political instability in Egypt, Tunisia and other Middle East countries where newfound freedoms, once suppressed by autocratic leaders, have given way to an absence of authority. The protests also seemed to highlight the unintended consequences of America’s support of movements to overthrow those autocrats, which have empowered Islamist groups that remain implacably hostile to the West......

dated 8 November 2004 from the diaries of former Commander of the Naval Forces Ozden Ornek:

'Visit of Ambassador Baki Ilkin? Mr Baki is a person whom we know as family, our families know each other. He was departing because he had been appointed to the United Nations and he came to say goodbye. Because he was the actual responsible deputy undersecretary during the Cyprus negotiations, he felt the need to tell me about the developments. That is, he wanted to explain to me what strategy they were implementing in the way towards the referendum and told me the following:

In any case, the Annan Plan could not be accepted by the Greek Administration of South Cypriot because of the issues it was including. It could not be accepted because [it provided for] their abandoning the state and reestablishing a new state, the continuation of the existence of the Turkish army and securing the return to their properties with a delay. The risk we have taken was not a big one. We started working by accepting that that if we say yes they will say no. We have informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that our aim was not to solve the Cyprus problem, but to turn it into an obstacle in the way towards the EU. In the end our assumption came true and the Greek Administration of South Cyprus said no'.

These lines tell us that: 'during the period of the Annan Plan in 2004 as well, our policy in Cyprus was that the 'non-solution is a solution'?"

you see they accepted it knowing the greek cypriots would say yes. they did not want it at all.

What on Earth has this got to do with the death if the US Ambassador?

The token "black", Obama demanded YouTube remove the apparent offensive video and the BBC justified the Muslim reactions as understable, and this what they really supported:

At least in Australia the authorities are going to find this revolting parent that is encouraging her child to violence! But it's ironic, actually expected, that the two nations that supported the barbarism of the Turkish invasion of 1974 also almost 40 years are now indirectly condoning the protests of these Muslim fanatics.

That's why multicult does not work, i.e. Islam in Europe.

Hopefully the leftist thickos in Cyprus and beyond will come to their senses before it's too late for all of us.

Israel thinks of itself as a western minded eastern country whereas Cuba is an eastern minded western country!

But then you get a whole bunch of countries in the middle like Cyprus which at times is an eastern minded central country and sometimes a western minded central country, although in reality it’s just a central minded central country!

So there you go!

Well that’ll teach the West for uprooting Arab/Muslims from their homes and making them refugees seeking asylums in theirs!

Most of these uprooted people weren’t interested in multiculturalism but it was forced upon them!
