1. i say stupid because... if u are helping to kill ur own kind... to me thats stupid


2. arabs and turks do not have a big difference, according to Quran and sunnah of Prophet Muhammed S.A.W, all muslims are the brother of every other muslims. so they stick together no matter what. QWe are all borthers and sisters Under Islam, a turk and arab are brothers or sisters. according to islam.

Some turks however are trying to become westernised to become part of the europeon union. but turks an arabs what links them .... is that they Beleive in Allah, they pray the same way, they fast during the month of ramadan, they give there zakat, they do the hajj pilgramage and they also say La illaha Ill ALLAH Muhammed Rasullulah (there is no God but GOd and mUhammed is the messenger of GOD)

and if u did ur research u would know The Ottoman Empire (osmanli) was a mixture of arabs, greeks, turks, mongolians, persians but what they had in common... they were all muslims....Yes alot of Greeks Converted to islam in that time, whether u like it or not its true... and they were the most powerful empire and most dominating empire.. they made the christian world shake..... Play AGE OF EMPIRES III u might learn somthing.

3. if christians kill chrisitians... then thats obviously wrong too...... besides...Salahuddin united the whole of the muslims and defeated the 3rd crusade... Muslims where more powerful united in history.. and thats just a fact of life...

Todays turks that follow the modern ataturk way of life... are modern they wanna be part of european union.... but everyone has there own choice..i was just saying turkeys army is powerful cause of the allies they have, but the problem is there allies kill other muslims... thats all i was trying to say... simple as that...

I'd understand your point Kypreos but was it not Arabs who sided with Lawrence of Arabia against Ottoman Turks? They fought for independence from Turks only to be backstabbed by Britain and France. Who knows how WWI would have ended if we didnt have to devote an entire army to the east. Perhaps Arabs and Turks would have stayed together with enough oil to make it a power, all that happened is the West divided and conquered it.

What is this preoccupation you have with religion?Don't you know that religion has caused more conflicts in the history of the world than anything else?Religion has never been a uniting force,especially in Islam.Remember the Iran-Iraq war which lasted about 10 years and killed millions?Turkey decided to become secular (well,Ataturk decided that Turkey would be secular) in 1923,and leave religion out of state affairs.Personally I think he didn't go far enough when he abolished the Kaliphate,he should have banned religion altogether.
Now I don't mean he should have banned God or Allah (they are the same thing!),,but outlawed organised religion,and leave people to worship their God in the privacy of their hearts.Organised religion is indeed "opium of the masses" a tool to control and direct peoples behaviour to serve a minority's interests.If you want to know about Islam in its purest sense go and read about Sufism.Then you won't mix religion and politics ever again.
