Piratis wrote:What kind of peace Lordo?

Peace where the war that Turkey started against Cyprus ends with the withdrawal of their occupation forces, the restoration of the human rights of all Cypriots and a united free democratic Cyprus without forced segregation and racist discriminations?

OR

Peace where the war that Turkey started against Cyprus ends with the legalization of ethnic cleansing and human rights violations, the official Turkification of the north part of our island and the abolishment of democracy?

Peace is good, but there are certain things that are worth fighting for, such as freedom and democracy. Therefore you should tell us exactly how you want peace to be achieved.

...well said.

...good luck to Mr. Talat, he may have learned many valuable lessons in the opposition, especially having to watch Eroglu ingloriously stagnate in the corruption of his "Turkishness", a parasite as Erdogan calls him, and the Cypriot population represented by him.

how may types of peace are there
peace where people begin to live without fear
peace where all soldiers leave
peace where all 80,000 reservists are disarmed
peace where different nations begin to live together without fear side by side
peace where may be one day they will be able to live as one
peace where they begin to trust each other and behave like normal neighbours again
peace where people do not harbour feelings that one day they may start killing again
take your pick my friends but most of all make peace

with a bit of luck mIKIS THEODORAKIS AND FARANDURI WILL APPEAR TOO.

who said anything about varosha. this is being held in the turkish sector inside city walls.

The CY problem is not a bicommunal problem. It's a problem of invasion and occupation.

The Turkish army and settlers must leave and refugees allowed to return to their homes. Not as guests in boring concerts.

what is it about the greek cypriot mentality that you must ask for what you cannot have. right now don't you think it would be better to have such a meeting the same night in the greek cypriot side of famagusta. and then perhaps one day we may be able to have a peace concert in varosha together.

why must we behave like a spoilt child and throw the dummy out of the pram at every turn

grow up before it is too late.
