The ironic thing is that here in the u.s the states that have the most oil also have the most windmills....

Yeah the oil producers are being subsidized to promote alt. energy

Pretty much the case...

The oil companies are some of the biggest players in the carbon credit market (worth billions)...

And if taxpayers are going to subsidise you 100% to build a windmill, why bother drilling holes in the ground...?

Did u know that Rockerfeller the founder of American petroleum funded the drive for prohibition back in the early 1900"s so that all alcohol distilleries would be shut down and not compete with his production of crude oil.
