Breaking news from the UK, Asil Nadir found guilty of three counts of theft.

Judge has called the jury back in to check one of the counts.

The jury is still deliberating on the other 10 counts.

Jees, wasn't expecting a verdict for months. Shame it didn't drag on and perhaps discussion could have turned to the role of the GB Government of the time in this affair.

Doubtless there'll be an appeal.

good luck, billy. the bbc (british bread & circus) has become an apologist mouthpiece for the political & financial establishment. its gushing coverage of the jubilee, followed soon after by the nauseous partisan olympics coverage, have irrevocably tainted its reputation as a serious media outlet. its sneering coverage of the assange debacle is enough to make a sane man sick.

'bread and circus' is wot the romans used to dish out to the plebs to keep them revolting.

the bbc is now the main uk provider of the circus; at the expense of the licence payer.
