Each conviction has a max of 7 years. They could run consecutively but more likely concurrently. The thing that makes me angry about the UK media coverage on the scandal is that no reference is made to the fact that his "empire" was based on the theft and exploitation of GC assets. UK Conservative party says it will not repay Nadir's donations made in the 1980s despite a previous pledge that they would - another Tory crisis in the making?

Could a consequence of the Turkish invasion be the downfall of a UK Government? That would teach Cameron to go brown-nosing Erdoguts

Oh... I hear that there are a few things which will have to wait be cleared up. Hear there will be cases next month to look at a few more things.

These include...

An examination of the Legal Aid that Nodear received, as to whether he was really entitled to it.

The legal costs of the prosecution, to the sum of 3 million £GB.

Recovery of the Proceeds of Crime.

... and then there is the matter of a very large political donation made by PPI that J refers to above (some £GB400,000, which some of us may feel was some kind of a sweetener) made to the ruling GB Conservative Party of the time and which the former GB PM John Major said would be returned if there was any evidence of wrongdoing...

One of VP's criminal friends who is Morally Corrupted, just as VP and his kind are. No wonder VP and his Morally Corrupted ilks do not want a settlement based on EU principles, because it would mean losing their illegally gained stolen Haram "Spoils of War" properties. The AP of 2004 would have helped them keep their illegally gained Haram properties. If and when this criminal Nadir is ever released from prison in the UK, the RoC should have him extradited to Cyprus, just like Gary Robb was to face his crimes committed in Cyprus one more time. Perhaps VP and his ilk will join Nadir's footsteps.......all the way to prison. :D

Sentenced to 10 years, will probably get out after 5 for good behaviour.

Are we nearer knowing why Nadir decided to abandon the pirate state to spend the rest of his life in a British prison?

He obviously came back as soon as a Tory (led) government came into power.

He probably thought his friends, who he made significant donations to before he fled would sort him out.

Perhaps that's the way they do things in Turkey, but as he has found to his peril, that doesn't necessarily work in the UK.

The question is whether he has any incriminating evidence against the people he funded and if he will blab or whether his chums will release him in a couple of months on medical grounds?
