Quite true ....... The UK did not even "storm" the Libyan embassy after the murder of yvonne fletcher by a diplomat.... And that's a country we had awful relations with at the time.
Speculative garbage just like the possibility of Sweden trotting him off to the USA.

Well it all leads to one conclusion. If the Americans are pissed off with you, you end up either with cancer or under arrest for alleged sexual abuses, rapes etc. What was that French guys name again? The former IMF big boy and former French presidency candidate? 8)

This is an open case so who are you to act as judge & jury on zero evidence?

If he is a rapist you'd have him go scot free. Personally I think he should defend himself in court.

Absolutely correct! But the point is: What if he is extradited to the US instead of to Sweden or even after he is tried in Sweden? This is what he is afraid of (and rightly so).

Well he is effectively imprisoned in a cell sized room in the Equadorian Embassy anyway so he might as well go to court in Sweden

Ah! A conspiracy Theory.

In the case of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, before the alleged rape he was known for the Piroska Nagy affair at the IMF, and since then a number of stories have emerged suggesting that he had some history of being a regular user if not an alleged abuser of prostitutes, as well as inappropriate behviour towards ladies in general.

There was another story that as head of the IMF he was pushing the USA to tell what has happened to their gold reserves. He (and the world) never got an answer.
