keep playing with where we have the most pain, Lordo, and you'll soon get some sympathy from the GC....good luck

the pain felt is mutual particular for those of us who were there between 63 and 74 my friend. we drag you into the 21st century whether you like it or not otherwise there can be no unification.

apartheid, ethnic cleansing violations of human rights, property rights, supporting a Turk army that committed atrocities against innocents(murder of unarmed men, women and children), violated the Geneva convention on importing illegal settlers into occupied territories, violated the Geneva convention in taking prisoners of war into Turkey, systematic destruction of the Greek Cypriot cultural heritage in the occupied territories of Cyprus and on and on and........while you sit back and defend this illegal occupying Turk army...and your dragging WHO into the 21 st century?

Greek Cypriots did that in 1974? I suppose they used napalm on themselves, too. Did they murder men, women and children? Did they circumcise Greek priests? Did they rape Greek Cypriot females between the ages of 12 and 70? Did they loot and destroy Greek churches? Did they take 1619 Greek Cypriots to Turkey who are still missing today? Did they dress up as Turkic soldiers and do all this or was it in fact Turks?

I'm a Cypriot through and through, and not a Greek wannabe like you that gave Turkey exactly what it wanted and between you and your kind, the Turks and their TC collaberators destroyed Cyprus.

So if you are a Cypriot through and through, like it or not, you are inherently Greek - or Turkic.

I am Cypriot - a Greek Cypriot - and proud of it.

Me and my kind wanted self-rule. We didn't want a foreign invader telling us what we could read, how we could talk, what flags we could fly, what times we could leave our houses, what we could and couldn't do in our own country. This is what was promised to us, by the British, if we fought on their side in WWII. We saw other countries breaking away from the yoke of their colonial masters and it was also enforced by the President of the USA. You sound like a spineless apologetic who yields under a foreign invader and conspires and collaborates against his own kind. Should we have just sat back and gone from one colony to another?

Greek 'Cypriot' clown.

Why shouldn't we have Enosis? The islanders had been transferred from one colonial power to another for eternity and at last had the opportunity to decide their own future. Unfortunately, the tail wagged the dog and the small percentage of Turk Cypriots didn't want what the majority of the island wanted and we got what we have now. Hindisght is a valuable thing.

You are so deluded you fell straight into the hands of the Turk...

In 1963 we successfully revoked the disproportionate rights of the TCs and established democracy in Cyprus through the 13 amendments.

The TCs removed themselves from government and enclaved themselves.

The UN accepted the 13 amendments and halted an attempted invasion from Turkey in 1964.

Between 1967 and 1974, no reported deaths through inter-communal violence.

I believe in time the TCs would have had no choice but to join normal Cypriot society.

I also believe that although Turkey wanted to partition Cyprus, they had no mandate or pretext to do so and had accepted the status of Cyprus.

So far so good...

Now what could have possibly gone wrong with this perfect situation.

Greece and treacherous Greek wannabes like you (1974).

Fools like you, Kimon, GIG and other Greece flag waving traitors gave the Turks want they wanted.

I hope you can sleep at night.
