The 'Line Up' for the Men's 10,000 Meters Olympic track event was quite an interesting one since both 'Moses' and 'Mohamed' were among the contestants.
The early stages of the race presented no significant indications of just who would be victorious until, whether by 'Providence' or 'Divine Intervention', little 'Mohamed' strode forth and left the others in his wake.
Poor 'Moses' shuffled in 10th (possibly out of deference to the Ten Commandments) whilst 'Mohamed' was lying prostrated in supplication to his 'Deity' before rising to his feet and forming the letter 'M' with his hands above his head, again in vivid supplication to his 'Muslim Faith'.
'Moses' looked a little 'Crestfallen' as he appeared to scratch his 'Goolies' before cloaking himself in the 'Flag of Uganda' BUT, the entire arena reverberated to rapturous applause as 'Mohamed' cloaked his small frame in the 'Union Flag of Great Britain', testimony to the fact that another 'Gold Medal' was earned.
Among the 'Spectators' were two local residents, they were not fully aware of the 'Religious Beliefs' of the contestants although, if questioned, they would probably realize that there would be differences since the whole world was represented in the 'Games' and such differences should be expected.
However, 'Charlie' turned to 'Harry' and said, " 'Ere 'Arry', is that little Black 'Geezer' a 'Moozo' ?", to which his associate replied, "Yes Charlie, but He's alright, He's one of us!".
And that's how it works folks.
Incidentally, I once had a wonderful 'Friend' named 'Moses', had HE been allowed to compete in the race, there would be no question about who would win the 'Gold Medal' BUT, unfortunately he would not have qualified since 'Dogs' may not contest 'Humans', which is quite sad actually since I am sure 'Humans' are quite often capable of the same levels of 'Savagery' such as seen in 'Dog-Fights', although 'Humans' do not receive the same 'Prompting' as 'Dogs', it would appear to be something of a 'Natural Trait' in these 'Troubled Times'.
'Congratulations' to 'Mohamed Farah' and 'Commiserations' to 'Moses Kipsero', fine athletes and fine 'Ambassadors' to the 'Nations' they represented.
