Those rare individuals who have everything like a big beautiful home and a great career and throw it all away just to move to some shitty little village in a shitty African country so as to be close to poverty and drought stricken unfortunate peasants in the hope that they’ll make their life a little more comfortable via their area of expertise for trivial pay.

And not some dickhead running around on springs fitted on his limbs!

Have you told Mrs GR about your plans yet...???

I don’t have half the balls like the people I mentioned.

Oh... so has Mrs GR got anything to do with half your balls being missing...???

Does that qualify him for the Paralympics unsynchronised testicle juggling event?

Tremendous that he runs in these Games on a level playing field with his peers, must be a great inspiration to many people and isn't that a part of what these People's Games are about, the current generation of athletes inspiring the next generation...???

I don’t understand the big deal! They put springs on his limbs and now he is racing like a Kangaroo.

I’ll just wait a few years when they invent bionic legs to point to the clever one wearing them!

No, no, no reh... they have done scientific tests and the blades offer no advantage over and above tendons and muscles etc.

In any event, look at it this way and it's the only way to look at it imho, it takes the same sort of determined dedication, training every day for hours and hours to perform at this level... Surely...???

law of conservation of energy - even with springs he has got to put the effort in.

i think u'll find it's largely down to guilt... and a desire to reach the final, self-actualisation level in maslow's heirarchy of needs.

I don’t care what this dickhead Maslow thinks of it because I can judge for myself that to sacrifice one’s comfortable life so as to help others in the shittiest of environments is pious!

that's a shame because an understanding of wot motivates people (ie. unsatisfied needs) would be to ur advantage. maslow was a groundbreaking and inspirational human psychologist.

You can criticize self aggrandizement; like that dickhead on springs or any other athlete, all you want but we should never speak ill of piety!
