How many times must I warn you not to read from Greek propaganda sites which distort information?

And tell me something, if Greeks are so clever how come you’re so hard at learning?

Now here’s the official site with the results of all countries for all the years that this has been going on…

http://www.imo-official.org/results.aspx

In 2012 you came 26th whereas last year 40th. Korea, China, US, and Russia took first, second, third, and fourth place and you’ll find that country positions fluctuate each year and of course large populations make a big difference.

The results for Greece are a far cry from the hype your Greek junk site is trying to pass off!

The results for Cyprus are even worse than Greece!!!! I think we should check the standard of the private lessons our Government school teachers don't pay their income tax on.

It's a simple case of numbers. When you have a pool of 250 million to choose from (ie: the US) you have a far greater chance of finding maths geniuses than from 800,000!

Like I said... it's a numbers game. If you divide the ranking each year by the total population you'll find a "genius p/capita" rating which is more fair.

Feel free to do that if you like… I can’t be bothered.

So why didn't that article mention that Greece came 22nd and 40th last year?

Just give up the Greek propaganda sites and we won't have to deal with your embarrassments, and in future you should always persevere to find the TRUTH from official sites before posting.
