Hello! Greetings from Siberia!

We'd like to visit the Trooditissa Monastery, from Limassol, by bus (we don't want to buy a tour to the monastery, we'd like to visit on our own). I've found that we can get to Fointi or to Pano Platres by EMEL bus No 62 from Limassol, but how can we get from these villages to the monastery?

Is it possible to rent a taxi from Fointi or Pano Platres to the monastery, and then to rent a taxi from the monastery back to the village? Is there a taxi service at the monastery?

If it is not possible to rent a taxi, are there any other ways to get to the monastery?

hi The monastry is not open to the public for tours - no tours are available - it is only open on a very limited basis for public participation in some Church services.

Do not go to Fini because it’s a very small village with no facilities and no decent connecting road to the monastery.

You should go to Pano Platres that connects to the monastery via a main road, where you’ll find this taxi service…

My travelling companions are orthodox Christians and they would like to visit the monastery as the believers, not as usual tourists. If it is possible, they could participate in a service.
