Getting set for Iran war

Postby kimon07 » Wed Aug 01, 2012 9:19 am

While the war in Syria is raging, the war against Iran appears to be imminent.

Even the Iranians now admit that it is a matter of weeks while Panetta is on a tour inspecting forces.

Finally the alleged murder by the Syrian secret service (or is it the Iranian) of Prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud in Riyadh, increases tensions in the wider region.

All I have to say is that we are probably up for a very warm September.

(maybe the prophecy that the London Olympics will coincide with a tremendous world disaster is to come true?

DEBKAfile DEBKA-Net-Weekly July 31, 2012, 7:04 PM (GMT+02:00)

US, Israeli, Saudi and Iranian war preparations are on fast forward, as the coming issue of DEBKA-Net-Weekly discloses in detail next Friday. All their leaders face agonizing decisions in the weeks ahead. US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta is on a tour of inspection to make sure US Middle East military forces are ready for an operation against Iran. Its timeline is now pared down to weeks because Iran's ongoing mega-fortifications threaten to make its nuclear facilities indestructible - even by American super-weapons.

On July 27, just before Friday prayers, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei summoned top Iranian military chiefs for what he called “their last war council.”

“We’ll be at war within weeks,” he told the gathering, DEBKAfile’s exclusive Iranian and intelligence sources disclose.

Saudi silence on intelligence chief Bandar’s fate denotes panic
DEBKAfile Special Report July 31, 2012, 1:52 PM (GMT+02:00)

Disquiet in Washington, Jerusalem and a row of Middle East capitals is gaining ground the longer the Saudi government stays silent on the reports of the assassination of the newly-appointed Saudi intelligence chief Prince Bandar bin Sultan, purportedly in a revenge operation by a Syrian intelligence death squad. If true, it would shoot a devastating tentacle out from the Syrian conflict to the broader region.

It is widely feared that Saudi rulers are too traumatized to respond by the fear of Iranian penetration of the highest and most closely guarded circles of Saudi government, possibly climaxing in Bandar’s assassination.

Strangely there doesn't seem to be anything in the mainstream news media about the death of Prince Bandar bin Sultan.

No, because the Saudies don't anounce anything, either positive or negative. But have you noticed? Nothing significant about Aleppo either! Wonder why.

"Get the missiles ready, we will engage in war in the coming weeks" said supreme leader of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khomeini last week at a military leadership meeting -titled the last war council. According to him, Iran is preparing itself to engage in war by October 2012.

The statements were made at a meeting of military leaders in Iran which was attended by Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi, the military adviser to Ayatollah Ali Khomeini Yahya Rahim-Safavi, the A / General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces General Seyed Hassan Firuzabadi, the commander of the Revolutionary Guards General Mohammad Ali Jafari and the military commander of the elite Al Qods Force Gen. Qassem Soleimani, as well as the Heads of Naval Aviation and the Army, etc..

Each official briefed Ali Khamenei on the present situation as well as in what condition the armed forces are in. According to press reports in Athens, the officials decided to strengthen the security of their nuclear facilities against expected bomb attacks by constructing new protective layers that would safeguard these facilities. In such a framework they plan to use of stone and reinforced concrete that would even cover the facilities (on top).

The overall aim is to protect Iran's nuclear program and facilities aginst U.S. armor-piercing bombs (such as the GBU-57A / B 30,000 pound bombs with a total weight that can be unleashed by B-2.

In addition to this, the officials decided to take further measures in case pre-emptive strikes were made against Iran by the U.S. or Israel. More specifically, they decided to accelerate the process of enriching uranium so that it reaches 60%, a percentage that is needed to make nuclear bombs.

The Iranians also decided to put the Shehab-3 missiles into use against a possible Israeli, Saudi Arabian and American threat. Other measures include the mobilization of the Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Hamas and Islamic Jihadin in Gaza, and they also plan the total destruction of oil loading terminals in Saudi Arabia while it was also noted that they will lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
