There is no such thing as a standardized Cypriot to Latin characters and you won't find a solution for that in Greece either even though I'm sure you wouldn't go to toilet without getting Athens’ permission!

You don't need "ethnicity" certificates. You have birth certificates. Your name might be Greek. Then you might have a baptism ceremony. Probably in a Greek orthodox church (certainly the majority do - we are famed for this.) These are the cultural continuities ...

If you don't like, opt out. But the majority do like!

No "conversion" necessary. I was born here among Greeks. Greek speakers going back several connected generations. With Greek practicing churches built several centuries ago. With Greek writing in records going back thousands of years.
