Once they and she admitted the tweet she had to be banned otherwise the whole of the Greek team would be facing problems. What they should have done was the same as the Germans did with their athlete who was accused of tweeting against the Greeks. To claim the tweet was done by someone who got into the account of Papachristou. Period.

The problem is, Kimon, everyone believes what the Germans say but no one would believe what the Greeks say. The reality is everyone is a "racist" (at some level) and discriminates when it suits them or when they can get away with it.
