Welcome back gardash. Where you been hiding??
As for the 'trnc' well, it's a good job you said those words otherwise your buddies would never believe a GC saying them. Although we always what it was like.

Hi gardash, had a couple of weeks "holiday" in my country and now back at work, trying to keep cool, calm and collected  My holiday at home was ruined within an hour of arriving in Cyprus. I landed at Larnaca and crossed over from Kermiya. I was in a queue of 3, a lady, a chap and me, this wally comes along (local ugly bastard) and jumps right in front of queue and hands his ID over to the police, I was so annoyed I had a go at him for not even knowing how to line up in a queue and I had a go at the police officer for allowing him to do this and even worse for processing him. Guess what, I almost got beaten up by them both.

Not a good start to my holiday. I know its a minor thing and could happen anywhere but what can you expect from a society that don't even know how to queue? They haven't got a clue about the most basic things, you try and cross the road on zebra crossings and they just drive onto you and look at you in amazement as if you are an idiot.

As I said, these are minor issues but looking at the bigger picture I can tell you for certain there are no consumer rights, no human rights and quality of life for the vast majority of TC's is very poor.

And God help you if you get arrested, our police haven't got a clue on how to interrogate, the only thing they know is how to beat the shit out of you (without leaving marks on your body) to get a confession. I haven't personally experienced this because I am on the right side of the law but I know for a fact our "Police Force" will use brute force to solve 99.9% of all crimes.

Now I ask you, why would I even want to live in a shit hole like this?

Is that all? I have experienced the same things in the UK and the South have you seen the ugly bastards at the GC crossing? and the are in the EU which makes it even worse.

Yes VP, it can happen in the UK too and often does. I have often been on zebra crossings with the driver not stopping and not surprisingly the offender would look very Turkish. I've also often been in Turkish shops/banks in London where I've had arguments with customers not queuing and again they are always fucking Turkish.

I loved my country but hand on heart I honestly believe its turned into a shit hole. And as I see it with Turkeys involvement it can only get worse.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, you'll have to excuse the likes of VP, as he thinks that just because it could happen eslewhere it's OK to happen in the 'trnc'. Well, at least we have an honest, unbiased, true, opinion of the 'trnc' and it's sad that it has come this that. But with people like VP, who apparently represents the average TC, then it is going to get alot worse for the remaining TCs. Aside from that I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
All the best

You can complain all you wish but such events occur in other countries all over the world as well we know so trying to label the TRNC a shit hole s not right that would mean the whole world is a shit hole, the big difference is we do not claim to be in the EU you do..so how do you explain that?

A very honest account that cuts through the nonsense perpetrated by VP and his like. Maybe VP is happy living in a shithole because he doesn't know any better?

The fact that they’d rather live in a shithole is testament of your failed alternative which is basically… “replace the Fez with the Greek olive branch!”

You do a fine job of destroying anything Cypriot so why are you surprised of the result?

And what makes you think they want a fair and equal share of the one-man-one-vote democracy of "Cypriotness"?

Seems to me it's back to enslavement of native Cypriots which drives them as "fair". Greek represents the new equal-rights freedom that the native Cypriots were striving for. If you would rather go back under the yoke of the TCs having power to effectively rule us, you are going about it the right way.

But the 80% majority of the island who are the natives (i.e. Greeks) do not want to be enslaved to Turks forever and have instead been striving for the freedom which comes with the democracy which the Greeks represent. If the Greeks are your enemy, GR!, then so is democracy and you, just like VP, have no place in Cyprus.
