"Is it a mass grave in Tymbou?"

Under the above title, Turkish Cypriot daily Kibrisli newspaper (27.07.12) reports that according to some allegations, human bones have been unearthed during the works for the second runway in the illegal airport in occupied Tymbou area. The paper's editor-in-chief, Kartal Harman wonders whether this information is correct and points out that some circles said that the existence of human remains there had been known. He also wonders whether the works continued in spite of finding the remains.

Naturally any call to to stop the work 'til the Committee on Missing Persons can investigate this matter will be ignored.

i am sure they will be exumed if true and the usual procedures will be followed regarding identification. although the dna testing has stopped from what i have been reading.

You need to update your reading... the DNA testing was restarted days ago.

So why, given you're so sure that this site will be investigated, isn't the poss site near the Mare Monte Hotel near Lapithos being investigated..???

The plural is charluthkia (to charlui, ta charluthkia, like to copelloui ta copellouthkia). You have to learn the language properly if we are to live together (under the new constitution, I mean).

Hi file... apolowogies... some refs say the Mare Monte is in Lapithos but you'll know better with your local knowledge, so Karavas it is.
