Under the above title, Turkish Cypriot daily Kibrisli newspaper (27.07.12) reports that according to some allegations, human bones have been unearthed during the works for the second runway in the illegal airport in occupied Tymbou area. The paper's editor-in-chief, Kartal Harman wonders whether this information is correct and points out that some circles said that the existence of human remains there had been known. He also wonders whether the works continued in spite of finding the remains.

if this is the only evidence you have i am afraid you are jumping to conclusion too easily because it suits your arguments.

I was passing by there the other day and there is no excavations. the runaway base is completed waiting for tarmac. in case you are interested jumbo jets can land there now.

As I said. The ramains are now pact under the runway base for good and the tarmac will soon be on top. And that will be that. And some "missing" persons will remain missing.

We are. Its good to know free Cyprus will have another airport to serve tourism and commerce.

...frankly. the tarmac will be torn apart, if there is enough evidence; and isn't it the way it should be, in a free and democratic Cyprus.

RW, actually there were some rumors about that area of Cyprus a few years ago, I just hope its not this particular spot.

...i don't expect the tarmac will be torn up soon, i am however indicating that in the future those bones, if they are under there will be found, and their story will remain as they are today, cruel and a bad reflection on the people who ignored them in the first place.
