sure you can demand enosis but you must accept that those who do not aspire to your ideas also have the right to aspire what they wish.

so for the ten thousand time take your side of the island and do as you wish nobody is stopping you my frind but don't expect other to follow you.

The simple truth is Turkey wanted to take back the island when the British were forced into giving it up. The Greek Cypriots wanted to determine their own future and resented the excessive power granted to the TCs – to them it was a reminder of Ottoman rule. Enosis goes back long before the 1950s and was first endorsed by Britain when the island was offered to Greece in 1917.

It's bizarre that you accuse the GCs of wanting to ethnically cleanse the island when it is Turkey that has succeeded in doing just that – ethnically cleansing the north of the island of its population and then you filthy parasites add to this criminal act by settling on the land that has been cleansed of its population!!

And you think the international community is going to validate this war crime!! You stinking parasites can rot away in your own heaps of rubbish as far as the rest of the world is concerned. It's what you deserve.

The enosis goal was always the underlying target of the GCs long before taksim ever saw the light of day and was a direct response to the enosis dream which also meant survival, breaking away from the Brits was just a stepping stone to giving Cyprus as a whole to Greece therefore ridding the island of its TCs population either by death or migration as they knew full well the majority could never accept living as part of Greece.

Piratis you still dont understand it must be something to do with your IQ, if you "democratically" choose to do something without including a large percentage of your population you are destined for revolt and a movement against in this case the GCs we fought for what we wanted and what we saw as a dangerous move, we moved for sharing the island side by side whereas you demanded that 100% of the island be given away to the Greeks. Ill let the readers decide which is more just.
