Don't be such a pussy. Alexander was the greatest military leader of all time, a pupil of Aristotle and a visionary. Of course he was a brutal drunken killer as well. So by that standard applying the thinking of the 16th century there was nothing untoward about the Ottoman conquest of Cyprus because by the lights of those days big powereful neighbors conquering their weaker neighbors was how things were done..... just as they had been since Alexandner the Great...
