...you calling yourself a toffee?

Yes. 8)

What flavour are you?

These are Highland Toffees from Mull ... 8)

Aye, they must be good. I will try to buy some in my next trip to Glasgow. Is there a train stop between Edinburgh and Glasgow? :)

Gosh - I've never done that journey by Scotrail. Are you going near Sterling?

Oops, did you mean Isle of Mull? It's a bit far from my whereabouts. Can I buy some in Glasgow?

I may visit Glasgow during Spring. :) BTW, are you preparing for next year's referendum? :)

In the light of the total rejection of Elam by the wise people of CY earlier today, you ought to try some Humble Pie...

Yeah, I did mean the Isle of Mull - Tobermory etc. :)

But you can get similar Highland toffees in most places - maybe even Edinburgh Woolen Mill.

Are you allowed to vote in the referendum?

Thanks. I am back in Cyprus now, but I may fly to Glasgow in May.

No, I am not allowed to vote, but I would sure love to see the UK dissolve. :D

I will not be cooking any nestle meat-based products to night - this is not because some of them have now been found to contain undeclared horse (probbaly via German Suppliers) but because I prefer fresh produce...

You should be careful! This is an old article, but who knows...
Hundreds of horses sent into early retirement by their loving owners are being chopped up and sold as dog food by con men.

(a) I only support under-dogs and am not a dog myself - (Schanauzer might have more to worry about!)
(b) In any event I don't have a particular problem with eating horse (or rabbits) if approved for putting in to the food chain....
