The Greek triple-jumper Voula Papachristou has been sent home by the Greek Olympic Committee after posting an allegedly racist tweet.

This is the allegedly racist tweet...

"With so many Africans in Greece…at least the mosquitoes from the west Nile are eating local food"

What a Twit!!!

Deffo a very ugly and very unacceptable comment as the World Family gathers here in London for the Games particularly from a founding state... but doubtless some racist fakers might disagree, some Golden Dawn supporters will doubtless bring more disrepute on to Greece...

Well, it is a funny observational kind of joke, in the style of Billy Connolly and such like comedians. But after the fiasco with racism-associations from John Terry in the sports-world, I can see why she faced the full wrath of the Greek Olympic committee.
