Below is an article about a recent threat by the Syrian regime to use chemical weapons. My question is, if Syria had nuclear weapons would they threaten to use them also to save their dying regime or for instance would a Pakistan(with 200 nuclear warheads) threaten and use them if their fundamental ideology/culture/religion was being threatened?

I don’t understand the point you’re trying to make!

If it’s ok for the US to attack Syria with white phosphorus, depleted uranium, and a variety of other banned weapons why is it that Syria should not defend itself with chemical weapons?

I'd use everything at my disposal to save my country... wouldn't you?

As for removing an undesirable (to the west) regime… there is no such surgical tool available as a “regime extractor” other than to destroy the entire country as was done to Libya, so using all weapons available in defense would not be an attempt to save the regime but an attempt to save the entire country!

If they are allowed to have chemical weapons and capable of using them, what if they had nuclear weapons. What if a Pakistan or Iran had atomic weapons and both decided to use them, wouldnt Cyprus and the SBA's be a good target? And why not start seeing the world as east vs west?

Allowed to have them? You just add simple stuff like sulfur mustard to the contents of the shell and viola… it becomes a chemical weapon. No big deal… even Cyprus can make them.

If they had nuclear capabilities and the US was stupid enough to cross their red lines then the US should also be man enough to cop one smack in the center of Washington DC! I see nothing wrong with that.

If Cyprus was to cross Pakistan’s red lines and end up taking a hit well that’s just tough titties for Cyprus ain’t it?
