Only wealthy people had bath tubs in 1963 (we didn’t get one until 1973) so this TC man must’ve been working with GCs or even as a civil servant of the RoC government. Ridiculous where this thread has come to: ALL houses in Nicosia, rich and poor alike had running water and electricity in 1958. And all the ones outside the walls had bathtubs and most of the ones within the walls as well. By 1960-1963 there was not a single house or apartment in Nicosia, both within as well as outside the walls that did not have a complete toilet/bathroom.
