Theodosia, thank you for the compliment, it is very heartwarming, for the most part i wonder if my writing is easily read (and understood), let alone, moving.
...ten years ago, i had the great fortune of visiting for five weeks with my wife and child; it wasn't enough.
...yes, travelling to the north places anyone not "Turkish" enough in danger (hence the government advice).
...and no, i did not visit the north with my family, beside the most unhappy emotions personally, that i would have had to suffer, i am pretty certain that it would mean my life is at risk, given how the male heirs to our family's property were made to disappear. indeed my neighbours (in my village) who are Turkish, live with the same hell knowing that they have neighbours, who are these murderers. we are Cypriots, close to our land whether Greek or Turks, victims of "Greeks" and "Turks" who dismiss our very existence in their Proxy War.
