So when can we expect to see some sanity from you VP... tell us just how see the role of the TMT/Donktosh Extremists, prob since at least 1958, in all this mess, and in particular their role in '74 and since, in all this...?

They were a direct response to enosis and fought for survival which came in the form of taksim. Please tell me honestly what you would have expected TCs to do in the face of enosis and gifting their country to Greece which for them was a death sentence.

Come along VP... let's try and be a bit more sane and honest about the role of TMT/Donktosh/Kucuk in all this and the continuing role of Turkey and the Illegal Regime up to the present day.

Come on... a bit of honesty from you today please.

Ah, there you are VP... Got an honest answer to go with this please...??? Perhaps a bit of condemnation of the fascist extremists TMT...??? Go on just a little...

If you are assuming that all TMT was fascist and murderers, you are simply not understanding the scene my friend. In each area there were hundreds of TMT men to defend their land. Only a few went out of their area and killed Cypriots. Considering that killers in this situation would be multiple killers and how many people were killed, I would say there were less tan 50 killers. That makes it about 1 percent of the TMT. You realy do no justice to implicate the whole group in the activites of just a few men.

Where as on the other hand we had eoka men taken on as police picking up innocent people and torturing and/or killing them in police stations at will.

You really need to be educating yourself just a little more. You are making good progress though.

It'll take a great deal more than your totally childish and useless kafeneon rubbish talk to educate even a two-year old on the matter.

Now go away and try and accept the truth, and we know it's difficult for you Turkish Agents to face the truth, that the Volkan/Donktosh/TMT terrorists were just that, an organised heavily armed group, armed by Turkey, who carried out acts of terrorism and imposed the self-segration will of the Donktosh leadership through terrorising CYs... indeed from the number of times Muhktar Eroglu attends their meetings... one that is still very active.

Is it sinking in yet...? Prob not.

Here is an intersting site which argues quite convincingly about US involvement

http://www.greece.org/cyprus/Takism6.htm

The interesting point is that Kissingerapparently stopped British Intervention that might have prevented the Turkish Invasion.

The timing of the coup was crucial. By late 1973, Greek and Turkish Cypriot negotiators had reached a constitutional agreement which would have settled the Cyprus problem within the context of the existing unitary state. Turkish Cypriots were leaving the communal enclaves they inhabited since 1963 to work and to settle back in their old homes

does anyone know about this agreement in detail late 1973?

What more is there to know. Clerides and Dengtash agreed to the amendment of the 13 points and the unification of the local Authorities. Clerides, Dengtash and Turkey agreed to it. Clerides recommended it to Makarios only to be told that he signed an agreement excluding Enosis in 1960, he was not about to sign another.

And people still believe the Turkey is the root of the Cyprus problem. We must look deeper in ourselves to find the cause and the solution.

Not quite my friend. That was the only agreement ever and it was late 72 with the refusal in early 73. Get it?
